I've just installed Ubuntu 6.10 after having screen resolution problems with Fedora 6.0 I have had one problem with it, namely it will not read either CD's or DVD's. An icon appears on the desktop but I can't get access to its contents. I installed from the DVD without problems, including getting the sound to work. I have tried changing the IDE setting, disconnecting the drive through Parallels with no luck. After I installed it I went to add additional applications so I had to created an ISO disk image of the DVD which I had used to install it, which worked fine after I had changed the setting in Parallels.

While I am here, is there any chance of some nice kind person sending me the relivent file that sort out the screen resolution problem in Fedora Core 6.0?

I am very impress with this product, it has done away with an ugly pc, and just leaves all my computing on one Mini Mac.
