    Hi all,

I downloaded the Ubuntu Hardy Appliance from the Parallels site, ran all the updates for the machine and then installed the latest parallels tools.
At first everything seemed to be working but after the 2nd reboot the Mouse refuses to work in the Guest OS.
I can use the keyboard to move around and also get into the terminal but no mouse
Uninstalling the tools fixes this but I lose the screen resolution for my MBP 17" again.

is there a way to selectively not install the mouse support from the tools or disable it after the install?

    thanks

    Mike

I found a workaround by extracting the V4 linux tools from the DMG and using them.
Everything is working at this point
