I'm getting this error when I insert a CDROM/DVDROM into the MacBook (error message is from /var/log/messages):

Jul 17 21:07:43 localhost kernel: [ 3.180115] cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!

The CDROM/DVDROM is mounted but is empty. Anyone facing this same error or is there any setting I need to change?

All kinds of CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, music CD, etc. They just cannot be read with Ubuntu 6.06 under Parallels.
