I am very new to Linux but succesfully loaded it on Parallels on my Imac Core Duo 2. Now it runs fine however it shows a cd on the desktoop but when i click on it it shows nothing on it. Further i have followed some great instructions found on this site of setting up a network to share files with my mac but after doing that it also shows the network as having nothing in it. Actually it says after i try to set it up that it could not do it properly. I am very confused but don't want to give up on Linux. Any help would be greatly appreciated trleslie Thanks
