I'm trying to run UDK (Unreal Development Kit) on Parallels 8 on a new top end 27" iMac. I have Windows 7 in Parallels, and it works pretty well for most things, but with UDK, as soon as I try and load up the Unreal Editor it crashes the entire virtual machine pretty much instantly. I have Parallels set up to use 2 CPUs, 8gb of system RAM, and 1gb of video RAM, and I've tried it with Direct X 9 and 10. Unfortunately I've been unable to get it to run at all. I found a video on YouTube of someone running UDK in Parallels, but he didn't say how he did it, and Parallels support have so far been clueless. Has anyone managed to get it to run? And if so, how? Thanks!
Hi Moroboshi, How exactly your VM is crashing? Does Windows go to BSOD, or Parallels Desktop quits unexpectedly? Please reproduce the problem and submit us the problem report right after the crash: http://kb.parallels.com/9058 (try to use Terminal way if you don't see PD options)
