Unable to access Hard Disk 1 error

    After several other issues upgrading to Parallels 5, everything seemed to be working OK. After I applied the MacOS X 10.6.2 update, when I try to start the VM, I get the following error:
    "Unable to access Hard Disk 1. An error occurred when accessing the hard disk. Error ID: Input/output error."

    So now I'm stuck unable to start the VM. Any suggestions?

    I'm trying to upgrade 3 to 5 and when I select "Install Parallel Tools" I get the same error message. Any suggestions?
