Sorry to revisit this problem. But I am using OS 10.6.7 with Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac. This was a problem that was corrected with Desktop 5 (assuming the same problem). I get this message when I connect my Polar IR Interface. Any thoughts out there?

    Hi,

I am getting the same problem trying to connect a NEVO remote to Windows 7 using the latest version of Parallels 6. I've seen the post for this being fixed in Desktop 5, why is it happening with Desktop 6?

    Anyone found a solution?

    Regards,
    Karl

I'm not sure where the Choose VM > Removable Devices option is? But, it does sound promising. I can see the list of USB device assignments through the Parallels Preferences menu, but I can't find the "Choose VM" menu. Apologies if I am missing something obvious!

    Cheers,
    Karl

I have the same problem and I have just downladed a trial version, Build 6.0.12106. I'm trying to evaluate the program and the first thing that I am trying to do is plug in a usb device, and I get the same error. Doesnt give me very much confindence in the program.

    Any update on this problem?

I, too am trying to connect a NEVO S70 remote via Parallels 6.0 and Mac OS 10.6.8.

I get the error on all Macs in the house but not from my wife's Windows PC.

I just upgraded to Lion OSX and Parallels 7.

    STILL NO JOY.

Can anyone out there connect the Nevo to Studion Pro via Parallels?
