    Dear All,

I'm testing the most up to date version of Parallels (6) at the moment.
I tried to get Polar Pro Trainer running on a Windows XP.
The software izself is running, but I can get the USB IRDA adapter to run.

The device seems not to be detected by MAC OS, Parallels or both.
In most cases when I attache the USB adapter, nothing happens at all.
Sometimes a message box appears telling me that

"Unable to connect USB deviced to your virtual machine
The device cannot be connected now. Please try again later."

Forums report that it is working.

    What could be my problem?

    Thanks.

I too have this problem. Other USB devices work fine, but the Polar USB IR adapter does not. I get the "Unable to connect the USB device to your virtual machine.

The device cannot be connected now. Please try again later."
    message reliably.

    What I have:

    Mac-mini running OSX 10.6.6 Build 10J567, 4GB RAM, 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac, Build 6.0.11992, Revision 625164
Windows XP Pro ver. 2002, Service Pack 3

I installed the latest available Polar Win XP drivers (downloaded Feb. 17, 2011) from PolarUSA
The Parallels XP "system" has been "rebooted" since the driver install.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Same problem with Fujitsu fi-4120C scanner

    iMac running OXS 10.6.7, 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7, 12GB RAM 1333 MHz DDR3
    Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac, Build 6.0.11994, rev 637263; Feb 17, 2011)
Windows XP Pro, ver 2002, SP2

Installed latest driver from Fujitsu site. Works intermittently, but mostly it does not work. Can't determine the conditions under which it has worked - seems random. In the devices menu, it appears about half the time, but that is no indication of its being able to work.

I just downloaded the trial version of Parallels, builid 6.0.12106. And I am having the same problems. Doesnot seem like there is a solution, and it is undermining my decision to buy the program.
