I am running 3.0 on a Mini 1.66ghz with 2GB ram. When I choose the fullscreen option WinAmp simply creates a window of the same size I was using in the top left corner of the screen, containing the top left portion of the video, and the rest is black. And I can only resize the player to double size, no larger.
