I am running an iMac 2.0 duo 2 core with 1 GB ram. Running version 1940 and Win 2000. I have also installed parallels tools. USB autoconnect controler is on.
The software that I am trying to use is a specialized windows program and proprietary external usb device for digital dental radiography. Suni Corp. The program a flavor of "Apteryx" works fine. and is fast and smooth as can be.
Parallels recognizes that a USB device is connected and asks to install a driver. The driver CD is inserted the installation fails. When looking at the device manager is shows a generic type of usb connector. not the 2888 one. I think that is the device #. I have tried multiple ways of driver installation with the techs from the Suni Corp and we could not come up with a solution.
    Any suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Ted
