We are using Parallels 6 here at my office mainly on Intel Mac Pros. I have just created a Parallels image with Windows XP Pro SP3 to rollout to about 10 users. The problem I have is that the Guest Windows XP will not connect to our Domain. Other stand alone PCs connect fine and we have other macs on Parallels 5 that connect OK.

The domain is called UNION.LOCAL and this pings OK from the guest Windows XP and resolvs the IP address, the Mac itself connects OK to the domain, so I know that this is a parallels issue.

The error we get is "the network path was not found" The weird thing is that when we try to connect its get to the point where it ask you for your user name and password to authenticate you on the Domain, so it is seeing the domain, but not connecting, the error come after entering this information.

    Any ideas?

Are you logging in with "UNION.LOCAL\<username>"?

If it's to access a network share (like \\UNION.LOCAL\share), I've found that you need to find the actual drive name and put a $ after the share name (like \\<drive name>\share$).

You can find the actual drive name by looking at the Properties for a folder on the share (on a PC that works) and looking at the DFS tab.
