Hi, Recently I upgraded my mac book pro to Leopard. I reinstall parallels 5160 and it worked fine. Sometimes it did hang when I try to close Parallels. This morning it hanged again so I forced quit it. Now when I try to start parallels again it said the following... Parallels Desktop is unable to access the virtual hard disk image file /Users/pipet/Documents/Parallels/XPwinxp.hdd. The file is used by other application. I tried restart the Mac OS... still not working I tried reinstalled Parallels... still not working. I also tried Parallels mount ... and it couldn't mount the hd file. I would be really appreciate if anyone could tell me how to fix this. Or at least an instruction of some sort to restore the data in the virtual disk. It contains one month worth of my work. sigh.
Fixed. Found my answer here. http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=13162 I almost have a heart attack (for fear of losing data)
