Unable to open device/file Default CD/DVD-ROM

    Hi, recently, on startup, my Win XP VM is displaying this error:

    "Unable to open device/file Default CD/DVD-ROM"

    I don't think I changed anything, what could be the problem? My virtual machines are always set to use the Default CD/DVD-ROM.

    a guess

    in use by the Mac OS?

    look at PD >> Menu >> Devices
    to see its status
