Hi there, Have version 4.0. This is second VM issue in last 3 weeks. #1 had and used XP for longer time and used one single software only, QuickBooks. One day pop up window tells me that QB file is not correct file like it is corrupted. Didn't know what to do with that and installed new XP and reloaded new XP, re-loaded QB #2 version worked fine for 3-4 weeks. What I normally do is close QB in the afternoon and suspend XP. In the morning I restart XP (from suspended mode) and continue working. This morning blue bar advanced to the right and nothing happened in the end. VM didn't wake up. There was a window saying that there is an fatal error and report should be submitted to parallels team. I did that part. I re-booted Parallels, whole Mac and everything else I could. I restored XP file from Time Machine. Took one from yesterday afternoon while it was still working fine. Still no luck. I am stuck here. I am surprised that TM didn't do anything for me as well. Any suggestions?
No explanations? Since business can't wait I did only thing I could, deleted that VM file and created new XP. There was accounting backup so I have everything running again. Questions is, how to prevent this to happen again?
