uninstall windows 7 to install parallels 6?

    Running windows 7 with bootcamp on macbook pro. Bought parallels desktop 6 and ready to install. Best to uninstall windows 7 from the mac and then install parallels and then install windows 7? Or does it make any difference in the future run speeds for windows operating in parallels? Thanks
