Uninstalling Parallels Tools in Windows 8.1 causes Windows to not boot

    I have had SO MUCH TROUBLE with Windows 8.1 and Parallels. I would say at this point that they are incompatible.

    I think a lot of the problems has to do with Parallels Tools. I tried to uninstall the tools, but this causes Windows to loop - first saying there is an error, tries to repair itself (and fails) and then reboots. In essence, uninstalling Parallels Tools causes the system to never boot up. This was reported elsewhere (http://forum.parallels.com/showthre...stutters-resolution-does-not-fix-itself/page2) but I thought I'd bring it out as a separate issue.

    This is with Parallels 9.
