Server Version: 7.3 (743) Client Version: 7.3 (768) Is there a way the Universal Print Driver can display the correct drawers on the printer? We have a Cannon Imagerunners with four drawers. The Univesal Print Driver list "bins" that do not coordinate to the drawers. Any help appreciated!
Unfortunately no. The names of bins are related to the client side of the driver, the 2x Universal Printer is generic and so the bins are labelled neutrally. That is the point of the 2x Universal Printer it allows the drivers of any printer on the client to interact with the server without the server knowing about it. It takes a couple of tests and a note on the printer being used to allow the user to recognize the bins anyways. We took note of the requirement and if the demand is large we shall look into seeing if there can be any feature we can add to allow for custom labels to be added for a given system ( no promises ).
