I had Parallels 5 and Win7 (64 bit) installed on my Intel iMac. Kept getting this message on starting Parallels/Win: "RunDLL <a circled X> There was a problem starting C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\OpenCandy\OpenCandy_{C34417A8-7DCB-4B51-8C9D- 47EA7E43A7S4}.DLL C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\OpenCandy\OpenCandy_{C34417A8-7DCB-4B51-8C9D- 47EA7E43A7S4}.DLL is not a valid Win32 Application" Hoping to solve the problem I waited until I purchased Parallels 8 and installed it and Win7 (64 bit) again. After the first day I started getting the message again on startup. I can get rid of the message and then proceed with using Parallels/Win 7. Thinking back the message might have come after I installed Google Chrome under Parallels but I am not sure. Does this matter to me and how do I fix the problem?
Hi Neoflyer, It seems there is an issue in Windows 7 (not in Parallels Desktop). I'd recommend to give Windows Repair a try: http://kb.parallels.com/5223
