Windows 11 ARM x64 vm running on MacBook Pro m4 Pro, just updated from 20.2.2 to 20.3.0, now the Windows Start menu is broken. It fails to open for periods of time after multiple clicks, then sometimes decides to open. This is new with 20.3.0. I reinstalled Parallels tools a couple of times, rebooted a couple of times, rebooted the host, rebooted the Windows vm, etc. Tried changing mouse settings in the vm config, no difference.

Is there something I can do to fix this in 20.3.0, or will Parallels be releasing a fix for this glitch?

Secondary note, I've searched like crazy to try and find a way to re-download version 20.2.x with no luck. I'd love to undo the buggy 20.3.0 release, but I can't obtain the earlier release.

Another fun point, I have 2 Pro subscriptions for Mac, which allegedly come with 24x7 phone, chat, and email support, yet none of those options are available to me while logged into my account. How does a Parallels subscriber actually reach support?

Parallels Desktop comes with 24/7 phone, chat and email support.
    • Subscription licenses come with phone, chat and email support available for the lifetime of the subscription.

I downgraded to 20.2.2, and the Start Menu is back to behaving perfectly normal. Without doubt, 20.3 is the problem and Windows ARM users should avoid it. I have an Intel MBP also under subscription but have not tried there yet. The ticket opened for me is not showing in my account under "My Tickets". I replied directly to the email from Trishna. Another symptom of 20.3 bug, it causes the Start Menu to lose its surrounding 3d shadow properties, and replaces it with a 2d border that matches the Start Menu color. But the deal breaker is that the Start Menu often fails to open in Coherence when the Windows button is clicked, also when the Mac Command button is pressed. It may take several clicks or more before it finally opens.

Important to note, I duplicated this behavior with a fresh Windows 11 ARM installation on my M4 Pro MBP 14, with only Parallels Tools installed after installation. I'd suspect this is a simple enough scenario that Parallels developers would be able to easily duplicate.

I can confirm that the Windows Start Menu problem occurs on my M1 MacBook Air, running Parallels version 20.3.0 The Start Menu needs multiple clicks before it opens in Coherence mode.

I have a similar issue to that described by Rick. Just updated to 20.3.0 on a Mac mini M4 Pro, and Windows 11 start menu now only displays intermittently when clicking the Windows 11 Pro idock icon in Coherence mode.

Updated to Sequoia 15.4.1 this morning; issue with displaying Windows Start Menu in Coherence mode seems to be cleared up after this update.

Same problem as the one described by Rick_B, since 20.3 start button is broken, sometimes does not open or opens in a different screen where the dock is present. Frustrated this has not been tested properly. Using the last W11 production build 26100.3775 ARM, nothing experimental.

    这个版本似乎还有另一个 bug,
    Mouse becomes intermittently unresponsive

+1 to the above: Windows Start menu only comes up once after Windows restart, never comes up again. It doesn't come even when not in Coherence. Also seeing intermittently unresponsive mouse. Third, it doesn't properly handle display resolution, in that it keeps changing the resolution back to the setting it shows as Recommended, even though this resolution is slightly different from the display's native resolution. I hope they fix all of this soon!
