Update Paralells 5 to 10 or 11

    Hi,
    i have Version 5 of Paralells Desktop and want to update to 10 or 11 cause i also want to update
    the OS to Captain or Yosemite. The current Version i have is Leopard 10.6.(8?).

    Is the image file of Version 5 without problems useable on Version 10 or 11? Or what
    where the best way to Update to OS 10.10 or 10.11 so that i can use my old Paralells 5 Image
    on Paralells 10 or 11? Update from 5 to 9 and then to 10/11?

    Hello Thomas, we would suggest you to back up .pvm file and upgrade to Mac OS X El Capitan, then install and activate Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac. Please refer to the article http://kb.parallels.com/123279
