Updating of Linux pvm is stalled

I've upgraded Parallels to 18.3.3 on my iMac with MacOS 11.7.10. I attempted to install Parallels on an old Ubuntu Linux pvm, but the installation stalled. The pvm is now listed as "suspended." Restarting the pvm brings up the file listing, and restarting the installation just does the same thing.

Any idea how I can either continue or restart the installation?

Any help here would be appreciated. So far Support hasn't responded at all.
