I am running OS Sierra 10.12.1 on a Mac Book Air. I installed // Desktop version 11 on this machine more than a year ago. I used // Transporter Agent at that time to migrate my Windows 7 OS and Quicken 2015 from my old PC (which was suffering HD issues), creating a Windows 7 VM on/in the Mac. That process was successful, and I have used Quicken with that setup w/o problems till now. On Dec 16, I downloaded // Desktop for Mac 12.1.1, installed, registered, and activated it. When I then tried to open Windows 7 and Quicken in Desktop 12, I got a message "The virtual machine is not available." When I looked for the VM on my Mac HD, the file previously containing it was empty. Tech help at // was not able to help me find the lost .pvm file and advised me to start over. That's fine, but I find my Quicken automatic online backup utility had failed me, so I'm missing financial data necessary to do an up-to-date re-install. I'm trying to find a way to recover the lost .pvm file. I'm a software tool user, not adept at programming in the least, so I want to "assume" my lost file lives in the Mac's memory and can somehow be found. I would be grateful for any explicit suggestions on what I might try. Thank you all. Dodd
