Upgrade from Win10 Home to Pro

    I installed Windows 10 Home clean install without a hitch. I'm using it in fully isolated mode for lack of a better term. I now have a need to upgrade this version to Pro. Following the steps to do a simple upgrade through the store it is unable to do so. The window essentially freezes when I click on the $99.99 price, which is the button for starting the upgrade process. All other downloads from the store work as expected and my Microsoft account is active in the store. So not quite sure where the issue is. The only way to close the store window is to do do it from the small icon from the task bar.

    The linked Knowledgebase summarized perfectly what I was trying to do, unfortunately when it gets to Step 5, "Click go to Store" the purchase fails. The windows locks up and the only way to close is through the small icon on the taskbar, there is a hint of an action window informing me it will make changes but I am unable to click on ti because it disappears before the cursor can get to it's location. All other purchases go through without a problem, and I haven't seen this problem on any of my other computers just the parallels virtual one. If I could figure out a different way to purchase a pro activation key this wouldn't be an issue, but so far everything has pointed me to the same instructions you provided, I suspect there is a way I just haven't found it. I also haven't tried Microsoft directly yet, my experience has been once they hear it's a virtual machine, the assumption is the problem isn't theirs.
