Upgrade from XP to Windows 7 on Desktop 7

    I am trying to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 with a downloaded version of Windows 7. The files I have are two .box files and one .exe file. I am trying to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 using these files. Can anyone help?

    Maybe pretend that your virtual machine is a real PC and upgrade it using the instructions from the site where you got the .box and .exe files?

    What are the names of the files and where did you get them?
