Upgrade to build 5584 ?

Originally I got my copy of Parallels version 2 through the Apple online store. It's a UK version resold by a company called Avanquest Software UK Ltd. I the meantime I upgraded to Parallels version 3 which I bought on-line as an upgrade to the store copy of 2.0 and which I could activate using the old Version 2 serial number/license key.

Unfortunately the upgrade to build 5584 does not work using the build in "Check for Update" feature. The system wants me to register which I did already long time ago.

So now how do I get build 5584 ? I read a number of postings in the forum but I am still not sure what to do and also what version (localized ?) I need to do the upgrade. I am a little bit carefully because it already happened to me that I was not able to activate Parallels after upgrading it using a version which I manually downloaded from the web.

Please download the build 5584 here.

The automatic update option might not be working when the server is overloaded by update requests.
