I am currently running Parallels latest version (as of today) on an Ubuntu machine. I have xp running with no problems. I have a Vista Upgrade disc but have been unable to use it. Doing a search I came across some instructions that pointed to a "prepare for Vista Upgrade" option, but it seemed that might be written for the Mac version. Any ideas? Not looking for a discussion about Vista not now stuff. Thanks for your time. Ivan
have you tried the MS Utility to check if the VM is Vista Ready home editon update is forbidden for VMs in general Hugh W
