I am currently using Parallels 5160 with Windows 2000 on two computers, my desktop and laptop. I'm thinking though, of upgrading my Windows to XP. Will I have to purchase two copies of XP for this to work?

    Thanks for any helpful answers!

Legally, yes. You need one license for each computer you run it on.

If I moderated these forums and found advice otherwise, I would be sure to delete the posts.

Thank you for your help. Of course, I will do it the legal way. Tht's why I asked! Some programs alow you a copy of a laptop and desktop computer, as long as they don't run at the same time.

Ah. It's a confusing world, I mainly put the stern message to keep others from posting saying 'just don't tell M$', etc.

Sadly, OS licenses are a bit different than most software licenses, all part of the game I guess.

Hope everything gets up and running for you without a hitch!
