I am currently using Parallels 5160 with Windows 2000 on two computers, my desktop and laptop. I'm thinking though, of upgrading my Windows to XP. Will I have to purchase two copies of XP for this to work? Thanks for any helpful answers! Kathy
Legally, yes. You need one license for each computer you run it on. If I moderated these forums and found advice otherwise, I would be sure to delete the posts.
Thank you for your help. Of course, I will do it the legal way. Tht's why I asked! Some programs alow you a copy of a laptop and desktop computer, as long as they don't run at the same time.
Ah. It's a confusing world, I mainly put the stern message to keep others from posting saying 'just don't tell M$', etc. Sadly, OS licenses are a bit different than most software licenses, all part of the game I guess. Hope everything gets up and running for you without a hitch!
