Hi, I tried searching the forum for an answer to this, but couldn't dig anything up. I currently have windows 7 32 bit installed, and run boot camp and parallels 6. My hardware configuration is a Sandy bridge 2.2 Ghz i7 w/ 8 GB RAM. I'm wondering if i can upgrade win 7 to 64 bit, so i can take advantage of the extra ram. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!
If you want to move from a 32-bit version of Windows 7 to a 64-bit version of Windows 7, you'll need to back up your files and then perform a clean install to go from a 32-bit OS to a 64-bit OS.. Unfortunately you'll have to reinstall all your apps. ___________ NaszmulT
I think upgrading from 32 window to 64 bit is not a problem but uninstalling all the applications is the problem because you have to make all the setting after upgrading which is a time waste and a hard work. Cisco CCNA Certification | Cisco CCIE Certification | Cisco Certifications Preparation
