When I updated my Mac to Mavericks, it killed Parallels. At that time I no longer had a need to run a Windows program, so rather than upgrade I deleted Parallels. However, in the near future I will need to use the application Microsoft Publisher. Vestiges of Parallels 7 remain on my Mac because the icon association with some specific apps still reflect that those apps will open in Parallels. I do have my activation code for Parallels 7, but how do I upgrade when Parallels is no longer on my computer and wouldn't start even if it were?
