I have an old MacBook Pro, Early 2008 with Snow Leopard OS X. Since I was a budget-constrained engineering student back then I kept my Parallel Desktop 4 without upgrading it. Now my computer still works but is physically breaking apart and I want to purchase a new Mac. I want to transfer my Desktop 4 to the new mac. Will Desktop 4 work with OS X Mavericks? If not, can I purchase an upgrade to the current version, or will I need to purchase a full license?

    Hi AKSolo,

Parallels Desktop 4 does not work with OS X Mavericks, please check http://kb.parallels.com/114381 for Parallels Desktop and Mac OS (Host) compatibility and Parallels Desktop 4 has reached EOL on September 06, 2011 please refer http://kb.parallels.com/111886 , if you want to use the latest version of Parallels Desktop, you will need to purchase a full copy of Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac.
