Upgrading from P4Mac 4 to 7

    My Mac is 17" intel duo core as per specs below.


    Model Name: MacBook Pro
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro1,2
    Processor Name: Intel Core Duo
    Processor Speed: 2.16 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
    L2 Cache: 2 MB
    Memory: 2 GB
    Bus Speed: 667 MHz
    Boot ROM Version: MBP12.0061.B03
    SMC Version (system): 1.5f10

    I have Parallels4mac 4 installed.
    when i tried to upgrade to 7 two types of error
    1. says: requires 64 bit processor
    2. checksum error

    I dont know what need be done.!
    Anyone would help me please?

    It means you need a new computer. You can't run PD7 with your specs.
