I need to upgrade to Paralles 12, but have some questions. Do I need to uninstall 8 before I install the new version? Do I need to do the OS update before installing 12? Also, is there an option to buy more than one license? I need Parallels on 2 machines.
    Thanks for any help.

Installing Parallels Desktop 12 will automatically replace the version 8.
First, please update macOS then, followed by Parallels Desktop.
In order to use Parallels Desktop for Mac on several Mac machines, you need to purchase the corresponding number of licenses.
If you would like to move Parallels Desktop from one computer to another, you do not need to buy a new key, simply uninstall the software from the Mac it is currently installed on before installing to a new one.

Is it possible to upgrade from 8 to 12?
In Shopping I've found only the upgrade from 10 to 12. Does it works also from 8 to 12?

Hi, we have 2 options: purchase the upgrade key and full license.
Users, who have Parallels Desktop 10 and 11 can purchase Parallels Desktop 12 upgrade license. If you have 8 version and would like to use Parallels Desktop 12 you need to purchase the full version.
