Upgrading from Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and Parallels 8 to El Capitan and v.11

    Hi,

    I am currently running MacOS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard with Parallels 8 and Win XP virtual box. I wonder what is the proper upgrade sequence to get to El Capitan and Parallels 11 (since I cannot run Parallels 11 under Snow Leopard, nor can I run Parallels 8 under El Capitan). Should I install Parallels 11 first, then upgrade MacOS? Thank you!

    Hello Sergiy,
    Parallels Desktop upgrade is supported for Parallels Desktop version 9 and above only, so first you have to upgrade Mac OS X to El Capitan and then purchase Parallels Desktop 11 full edition to proceed with the installation. please refer to http://kb.parallels.com/123221 and http://kb.parallels.com/123279
