I have used disk utility to transfer my Mac OS Calalina installation on to my new SSD. Can anyone suggest my next step? When I installed Parallels on this iMac I already had a Boot Camp partition, I used the option to have Parallels use that Boot Camp partition. I would like to know if I can do something like the following? After I install the new SSD into the iMac with the image that disk utility created, can I then create a Boot Camp partition using Boot Camp Assistant and migrate my data from the Mac HDD that I uninstalled or is there a tool in Parallels that I can use to get that data on to my newly installed SSD. I want to have a good plan because it is much more involved installing a ssd into an iMac than into my macbook. When I make a mistake there I can easily put the old drive back in and start over but with this iMac, it is much harder and I don't want to have to remove that display mort than once. I'm new to parallels, I have searched the threads for one that might explain this procedure. If anyone can point me to one I would appreciate it.
