I'm attempting to upgrade a Windows 7 SP1 virtual machine to Windows 10 Pro. I'd like to go from 32 bit to 64 bit but that's not a requirement as this VM runs accounting software. I am running Parallels 15 Home Edition on a 2018 iMac with 32 gigs of memory and plenty of free storage.
I followed the upgrade steps, downloaded the exe package and ran the installer. I purchased a Windows 10 Pro (32 bit) key from Microsoft directly.
After running the installer, I entered the key and was told that the specified key (Windows 10 Pro Full) couldn't be used with this installation.

So that brings me to the question - where can one buy an upgrade? Are they even available?

If not, and I need to install a new clean version of Windows 10, how do I EASILY migrate all of the data from the existing Windows 7 profile into Windows 10?

Please contact Microsoft Support for more info about that.
But if you would like to install new Windows VM you can move hard drive from your Windows 7 to you new installed Windows 10.
Please check this article for more info about adding 2nd hard drive to VM
