    Hi Guys..

I am new to virtual computing, and despratly need you help. I will higly appreciate that.

I have a desktop whcih has Windows 7 Pro with RDP. This desktop has all the applications, whcih I need on my laptop (Win7 Home Premimum). I installed 2X application Server SMB on my Desktop, and published some applications, then I installed 2X client on my laptop and added new terminal server connection. When I connect the new terminal server connection, I just see the virtual deskop instead of seeing the seamless published application. I tried adding new 2x connection with differnet options as well, but can not connect.sometimes get error messages saysing cannot find server or IP, and sometimes saying bad username and password. Also, When I connect, new terminal server connection, I dont see the icon for published application. It takes me directly to the whole desktop.
    I am using Direct Mode.

My network setup is very simple, a windows workgroup. In options menu in the the servername i am inputting the desktop computer name and in domain, i am putting workgroup.I read somewhere that win 7 pro with RDP works as terminal server. If not then I am looking at upgrading my win7 pro to ultimate and install Win server 2008 standered (Not Win server 2008 R2 beacuse it is 64 bit and my desktop is 32 bit so I will go with 32 bit win server 2008) on VHD as dual boot option with windows 7 ultimate. Is it possible?

If simple workgroup option with win7 pro is doable than what are the steps, please give me all the steps. if not how to do it with win server 2008 on VHD. If I will go with windows server 2008, I would like to keep it simple, no domain just simple workgroup.

Please help me. I will be so thankful to you. Sorry for my english.

    Regards
    Waseemsz

2X Terminal Server Agent must be installed on Windows 2008/R2 Server/Enterprise Server with Terminal Services enabled; Windows 2003 Server/Enterprise Server with Terminal Services enabled; Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server with Terminal Services enabled.
