USB 3.0 problems

    I cannot connect my TopCon survey handheld to my VM. I've done some reasearch and it seems to be the USB 3.0. After following instructions on how to do it I still can't get it. I was told to enable the USB 3.0 by going to virtual machine Configure->USB and bluetooth and selecting USB 3.0 support to enable. My check box is greyed out, but the box is checked. I still can't connect, what can I do.
