I purchased Parallels Desktop 8 a few weeks ago, and I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed. Today I was running a program on Windows (through Parallels Desktop) and whilst it was doing this I reduced the size of the Parallels Desktop window. I then went to burn a disc on the Mac OS side (Mountain Lion 10.8.3) with Toast Titanium, but the drive could not be found when I went to burn the disc. Once I shut down Windows and this then closed Parallels Desktop, and I then went to burn the disc again, and the CD/DVD drive was visible again. I wondered if perhaps I'd overlooked some setting that would allow the USB CD/DVD drive to show up on both Parallels Desktop/Windows and Mac OS at the same time?
