    When I connect a PC-PLANNER (multimedia cards reader for my electronics mapps) i got the following message:

    ""USB device is not working properly and windows doen't recognize it""

    In the USB root hub ""device not known""

    On the MAC side in system information I can see the device in the USB bus ""device not configured""

    I run Parallels 4 on MAC OSX 10.5.6 and Windows XP-SP3

    Thanks for your help,

    Julien

    Please download it and install and perform additional step bellow
    Set following flag under Configure -Hardware -> CPU -> System flags property.
    (Select Show advanced settings)
    Please type
    devices.usb.loglevel=3
    click OK, and start Virtual machine

    Connect USB device to VM, wait for connection till error, and submit problem report from

    I have the same exact problem with my PC Planner multimedia reader. I thought the reader was broken? Has there been a fix to this?

    Please add to this list, the following USB item: DiamondMM VC500 Video Capture device. http://www.diamondmm.com/VC500.php

    This is super frustrating. Had to create a bootcamp partition just to use this device. Also works fine in VMWare. I see lots of posts about USB issues ... would be nice to get them resolved before we have to pay for v5.0.

    more USB problems

    I'm also having USB problems with Parallels ver 3.0 bld 5638 on my MacBookPro. My Sprint Aircard U727 and an Interlink epad, will not show in Windows XP.
