I had to reinstall my windows system as well as parallels this weekend in an attempt to solve a slow performance problem. While the problem itself was solved, I have now lost connectivity with the two USB devices I must use: one is a sandisk card reader (model SDDR-75, the other is a Jeppesen Skybound USB drive I use to download GPS databases for my airplane. I get the following window upon connection: Parallels Desktop has detected the new USB device ImageMate CF-SM. Do you want this device to be automatically connected to the virtual machine Parallels XP Installation? This window pops up over and over again despite any selection. I tried disabling autoconnect under the USB preferences but the devices still will not work.
