New MacBookPro, New Parallels install (upgraded to latest version), with a new XP install. Parallels tools installed. In general, everything works great. However - I'm unable to attach a usb hard drive or usb flash drive to the XP instance. I've tried with Autoconnect on and off. I've tried with the drives mounted in OSX and unmounted. In all circumstances I get a notice that another process is using the drive, and that I should re-try in 5-10 seconds. I have no other devices plugged into usb ports on this laptop (and as I said, I've tried it with the drives unmounted under OSX as well). Suggestions? This is close to a perfect solution, but I've got to have at least minimal USB support for it to work for me. I've not tried any USB devices except for these 3 different drives - though all of these 3 give the exact same results.
