I run an app that connects to a USB camera and downloads an image every 2-20 minutes. I run my MacBook Pro on battery and have the screen shut down but disk remain alive. I am finding that the downloads don't work if the wait is over 15 minutes. Shorter intervals work. I have a feeling that power to the USB port is disabled. Is there a way on WIN 8.1 under Parallels 9 to keep USB alive?
