I know this has been asked about previous versions of Parallels, but I'm wondering if Parallels version 4.0 now supports USB TV tuners? I'm specifically interested in using WinTV-HVR-950 with Vista under Parallels 4.0. If no one has experience with WinTV, I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has had success with any tuner under Parallels 4.0.

    Thanks...

I tried it with my WinTV 950 and it didn't work. The TV Tuner works on Boot Camp if i boot directly into Windows but not with Parallels 4.0. I recall I tried it with an earlier version and it worked on that one.

    P.S.
I am booting into Windows XP.

not sure about Win TV, but i have a pinnacle nano stick ultimate which is PC/Mac compatible.

    Results:

Use in OS X with elgato = Excellent

Use in Windows (boot camp) with Pinnacle PCTV / Media centre = Excellent

Use in Parallels Virtual machine (Vista 32/64 Bit) = System crashes

Not an issue for me however as the Nano Stick is has both PC and Mac software so i have no need to run in my VM.

Well, the point was whether TV Tuners work under parallels, and I think it's clear that they don't.
Hint hint, Parallels team, make it work ^_^
