I can not get parallels to recognise the connection of USB devices.
I am running a trial copy of version 3.0. I have been advised on the forum (thanks Alicia) to uninstall and reinstal USB controller which I did but on restarting (with no USBs connected) the VM immediately came up with "found new hardware". The harware it had detected was the Universal Serial Bus Controller and on installing this (in the new hardware wizard) it could not find any software for it and it is now listed in device manager under "Other Devices" as "Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller" with a yellow question mark and exclaimation mark in front. This was how everything looked prior to doing the unistall/reinstall as well.
The VM still does not acknowledge my USB IrDA or my USB data storage thing when I plug them in.
I have OS 10.4.10 and XP has the latest update.
Desparate for some help! Thank you.
