Hey I Just set up an 2x application server that I will have running applications to ipads. I want to set up so just specific users can see the application , when i set up filtering now and choose users from my ad even tho they cant login to the application they can still see it. This is a big nono for me so im really just asking if its possible to set up so If u cant use an applikation You wont see it, ? also i know it works like this when you set ip specific filters but is it possible on users and groups also ? Hi Liila, Hopefully I understand your question and what you've done. You have a single application and only want select users to be able to even see the app... What works for me is this: Go to the Filtering Tab Filtering Type set to User Place a checkmark inside the 'Allow the following Users' box Choose Users & Groups as the 'Default Object Type' (this way you can create user groups in AD and use groups too) Click Add to search for the proper User or Group. In my network I have to use both; the LDAP and WinNT provider (add user/group in once with checkmark on 'Use LDAP...' and again without the checkmark. Hope I've helped
