Using CDs with the Mac

    Probably a dumb question but I've only just installed Parallels 4 on a MacBook to run Windows XP. All going well except that Windows grabs any CD I load and the Mac doesn't get to see it. Without going in to Parallels and fiddling about with Windows I can't even eject the disc.

    Isn't there a way of configuring things so that Windows grabs a CD if Parallels or a Windows application is in focus but the Mac grabs the CD if the Finder or or a Mac application is in focus?

    Try the Parallels Drop-Down Devices Menu...
