When I first installed Windows on my Mac through Parallels, the Windows Virtual Machine was installed on an external hard drive. I still want to use the hard drive for extra space but I can't transfer files from Windows into the hard drive because I don't have permission. Any insight?
Hi Calebs1, Please check your Hard drive format , because using NTFS file format on a Mac computer is not possible. See this article for explanation about the same. To use your external drive on both your virtual machine and Mac computer it should be formatted to ExFat format.
