Hi all - I installed Parallels on my Mac some months ago without much problem. At the time, I wanted to use the built in isight camera and somewhere I found instructions that let me do that. There was a step to turn it off somehow in the Mac side, then find it and turn it on in Parallels. I even tested it and it worked. Then I set it back so I could use it on the mac side again - and LOST those notes. So, wondering if anyone can help me with this. I went to the FAQ area first and searched for "camera", "isight" and "mac camera" and got no results... so I found a great post by someone out there that suggested providing lots of details about one's situation to help those that could help me...so here you go. I've noticed that if I have Parallels running and plug in any USB device (printer, etc) it finds it and recognized it with no problem. If I plug in the device before running Parallels, it's in the "mac world" and so Parallels doesn't know it exists. Easy fix for a printer - just unplug USB and plug it back in...but need to find the equivalent for the built-in camera... My setup: 1. Mac OS Version 10.4.11 2. Parallels Build #3214 3. What kind of computer MacBook Pro 4. Total Physical RAM 2 GB 5. Hard Drives 80 GB (about 20 free right now) 6. If you are using a BootCamp configuration or not No. 7. Did you upgrade from a BETA No. 8. With what Build did the problem start #3214 9. If Parallels Tools are installed - not sure what this is, so probably not. 10. Anything you have tried to get things working - lost those notes - in Parallels, the Window XP software doesn't recognize that there is a camera. 11. Anything specific about your set-up you think we should know - nothing really special. I run really basic software (Firefox, Thunderbird, Dreamweaver, Photoshop) Hope you can help, thanks all! yvonne
