I am not too tech savvy...It's amazing I even figured out how to install parallels a few years ago. I have parallels 9 with windows 8.1 installed. My new job requires me to use windows with a direct ethernet connection, but I would like to continue the wi-fi settings I currently have on my mac OS. Can someone explain step by step how I do this? I read something about AirPort in my mac network settings but couldn't find anything on my computer. When I go to network preferences in mac, it shows WIFI (connected) at the very top. There is wording that says "ethernet" lower down that says "not connected". I would like to keep it this way, but I want to plug in an ethernet that is used by WINDOWS only on my virtual machine. How do I do this?

    Thanks!

You don't have to change anything on Mac side. You have to change the network mode of Bridged > Ethernet in VM configuration screen.
