There are several threads about flicker/glitch redisplay issues, and they all sound like manifestations of some underlying problem. The general symptom is that an application screen, or the status bar, will flicker about every 30 or 60 seconds. In some cases, the application's inner windows will blank out until the application processes a redraw event (from using the mouse, switching focus, etc.). This also can cause loss of data that was being input (e.g. form input). The problem seems to be with Parallels 6, and not before. I can confirm it happens in Build 6.0.11992 (Revision 625164; December 17, 2010). It definitely happens with Windows 7, and some have reported it under XP as well. I'm seeing it on all applications (old and new apps, also VS2010, XPS Viewer, etc.) constantly in Windows 7. I use Coherence.
